Custom Order Terms

These terms apply to furniture and other items made to your specification, in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Specification. The design, dimensions, materials, finish and colour in your approved quotation form the contract specification. Please check measurements of your space and access routes (doors, stairs, lifts) before approving.
2. Deposit and lead time. A 50% deposit starts production. The minimum lead time is 10 working days for orders below KES 50,000 and 14 working days for orders of KES 50,000 and above, counted from the later of the deposit date and specification approval. Your quotation states the confirmed date.
3. Progress and approval. We share photographs of the finished work. You may approve it or request adjustments that fall within the agreed specification. Requests outside the specification are quoted separately.
4. Balance. The balance is due on approval and before delivery. Ownership passes to you on full payment.
5. Natural materials. Timber grain, leather and fabric shades vary naturally and are not defects.
6. Collection and storage. Finished work not collected or paid for within 30 days of notice may attract storage charges. After 60 days' written notice, JMG may sell the piece to recover its costs and refund any surplus of your deposit.
7. Delays. Any change to the delivery date is recorded on your order page with the reason.
